It can be welded with most conventional methods with preheating and post weld heat treatment. The seamless pipes have less absolute roughness and can be used in equipment and instruments. The Duplex S31803 Pipe has 22% chromium and 3% molybdenum with 5% nickel and other elements in the composition. This unique combination provides the material with high strength, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. The minimum yield strength of the Duplex UNS S32205 Pipe is 550MPa and the minimum tensile strength is 800MPa. The strength values are almost double the values of 304 and 316 austenitic stainless steel grades.
