A finned tube is a heat exchange element. It is a kind of heat exchanger tube to improve the heat transfer efficiency, usually by adding fins on the surface of the heat exchanger tube to increase the external surface area (or internal surface area) of the heat exchanger tube, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the heat transfer efficiency.

Our finned pipe has a fin strip wrapped and continuously welded onto the outside surface of the tube by means of MIG welding technique. This process gives a very high heating transfer coefficient, about 4-5 times higher than other conventional types of finning, because of the continuity between tube and fin strip materials.
