Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Coil Manufacture
Galvanized steel coil is a type of steel coil that has undergone surface galvanizing treatment. It is coated with a layer of zinc on the surface of a substrate (such as cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel plate) to improve its corrosion resistance and service life. The galvanizing process mainly includes two methods: hot-dip galvanizing (hot-dip galvanizing) and electroplating galvanizing. Among them, hot-dip galvanizing is more common, with a thicker zinc layer and stronger protection.

Galvanized steel strip is a long and narrow sheet made with cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel. Through hot-dip galvanizing, a thick zinc layer is plated to offer a uniform surface. Also, after complex physical and chemical reactions, a corrosion-resistant zinc-iron alloy layer will be formed between the substrate and zinc molten bath. Generally, the steel strips are supplied in coils. According to the different base metals, you can find cold-rolled strips and hot-rolled strips.
