Cold-rolled steel sheet is the abbreviation of cold-rolled plain carbon structural plate, also known as cold-rolled sheet, commonly called the cold plate. Cold plate is made from ordinary carbon structural steel hot-rolled steel strip, after further cold rolling to produce steel plate with thickness less than 4mm. Due to rolling at room temperature, it doesn't produce iron oxide, resulting in excellent surface quality and high dimensional accuracy. Combined with annealing, its mechanical and technological properties are superior to hot-rolled steel sheet. In many applications, especially household appliance manufacturing, it has gradually replaced hot-rolled steel sheet.
