Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI) is manufactured by passing full hard sheet through acid washing and rolling processes, then through a zinc pot to apply a protective zinc coating. This process provides excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to zinc's unique characteristics. Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and coils share identical processing methods and specifications.

Galvanizing Process

Hot-dip galvanizing applies a protective zinc coating to steel or iron sheets to prevent rust formation. The zinc's self-sacrificing characteristic provides superior anti-corrosion properties while maintaining excellent paint adhesion and processability.
