Hot Dip Galvanizing Process
Hot dip galvanizing involves pickling steel to remove surface iron oxide, followed by cleaning with ammonium chloride or zinc chloride solutions, and then immersion in a hot dip plating tank. The molten zinc reacts with the iron matrix to form an alloy layer that bonds the substrate to the coating. This process is widely used in construction, appliances, automotive, and power industries.
