Highway guardrail systems consist of two corrugated steel guardrail plates fixed between columns using clamping mechanisms. During normal highway operations, these guardrails can be conveniently inserted into pre-set holes at openings, providing effective isolation and protection while maintaining visual consistency with the surrounding highway barriers.
During vehicle collisions, the corrugated steel guardrail plates demonstrate excellent crashworthiness and energy absorption capabilities, preventing collapse and providing superior protection for vehicles, drivers, and passengers. When road maintenance or other operations require access, the guardrail columns can be easily removed to create temporary passageways for vehicles.
