About Galvalume Steel

Galvalume steel, also known as Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel, Zincalume steel, or aluzinc steel (SGLC), is composed of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600°C. Its structure consists of aluminium-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a compact quaternary crystal alloy. The surface features smooth, flat, and attractive stars with a silver-white base color. This special coating provides excellent corrosion resistance with a normal service life of up to 25 years. It maintains performance in high temperature environments up to 315°C, offers excellent paint adhesion, and demonstrates good processing performance for punching, shearing, and welding applications. The surface conductivity is exceptional.
