Stainless steel pipe refers to a kind of steel that cannot be corroded by ordinary steel. It has high temperature strength and anti-oxidation corrosion properties. Carbon steel pipe is a pipe produced by hot forging, cold drawing or hot rolling. It is composed of carbon elements and can be manufactured through different processing techniques to produce different types of carbon steel pipes.

1. Chemical composition: Stainless steel pipes contain molybdenum, nickel and other elements, while carbon steel pipes only contain carbon.
2. Corrosion resistance: Stainless steel pipes have excellent corrosion resistance and can still maintain good corrosion resistance in harsh environments such as moisture, acidity, and alkalinity, while carbon steel pipes are prone to rust.
3. Strength: Because stainless steel pipes contain elements such as molybdenum and nickel, they have higher strength and better plasticity than carbon steel pipes.
4. Price: Since the manufacturing process of stainless steel pipes is more complicated than that of carbon steel pipes, the price of stainless steel pipes is much higher than that of carbon steel pipes.

1. Stainless steel pipes are mainly used in petroleum, chemical industry, medical, food, electronics, machinery, aviation and other fields, with huge demand.
2. Carbon steel pipes are mainly used in industrial manufacturing, construction, transportation, agricultural machinery and other fields.
Generally speaking, stainless steel pipes have high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, good plasticity, long life, and higher prices, and are mainly used in high-end fields; carbon steel pipes are relatively low-priced and suitable for general fields.
